Wild Coyote Megaways Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Of late, when game providers have transformed a cartoon-like theme into an online slot, the subject matter has been a little more adult related. There was Ted Megaways, for example, from Blueprint Gaming, and come to think of it; they also made Rick and Morty Megaways which proved to be a big success with players. Yes, in the past, we have had classics such as Top Cat, and just recently, Avatar UX released LooneyPop, but generally, we don’t see an abundance of old classics being released as modern-day slots. This is likely down to licensing more than anything else, but I’m sure the regulators are keeping an ever-increasing eye on what themes providers are tapping into. Let’s be honest; they’ve got their noses in pretty much everything else these days.
Over we go to the paytable, and I’ve got a feeling there will be a lot of fun symbols to check out. Unsurprisingly, Wile is the most valuable symbol, worth 10x the bet for a six of a kind win. Next is the mallet that pays 4x for all six on a payline, followed by the rocket at 2.5x. Finally, finishing off the premium pays are the sticks of dynamite paying 2x for a completed line of six, and the baseball bat paying 1.2x if all six hit across a payline. Then, dropping down to the lower pays, we have the classic royal cards. First up is the ace paying 1x for a full payline, followed by the King and Queen, both worth 0.8x. Last up; we have the Jack paying 0.6x, and wrapping up the show is the ten, which pays 0.5x for a six of a kind hit.
I was slightly taken aback by the betting range on Wild Coyote Megaways. Things start well with the minimum/maximum stake coming in at €0.20 and €100, respectively, but the game has a massive jump from €0.80 up to €2, which I thought was a little odd. There will be a lot of players that won’t want to make such a hike up in stake but might feel playing under €1 doesn’t interest them much either. Hopefully, this is just an oversight in the demo, and the casino version will include more options for punters to choose from.
Base Game & Modifiers
OneTouch has opted for a typical Megaways slot format for Wild Coyote. So we have a 6-reel game with a top tracker also present above reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. This allows each reel to display up to 7 symbols and a maximum of 117,649 paylines. Banking some cash across this payline structure will require you to land a minimum of three matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel first. There is only execution to this rule, with that being the top-paying symbols, where you’ll only need to match two to be awarded a win.
Wild Symbols
Whilst the wilds do not carry any monetary value of their own, they will substitute for all other regular symbols in the game. However, they can only appear on the top tracker on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Tnt Symbols
Poor old Wile E. Coyote never had much luck with his TNT and dynamite, did he? But things could be about to change in this game as the TNT symbol acts as the mystery within the game. Whenever it appears on the reels, all instances of it would transform into a randomly selected symbol from the paytable.
Roadrunner Wild
The notorious Roadrunner is always trying to outsmart Wile, and hopefully, you’ll see a lot of this unique symbol during your gameplay. It can only appear on the top tracker on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, but when it does, it will transform the reel below it into a full reel wild with a multiplier of up to x6. This symbol is particularly useful in the free spins feature, as it will always have the max value of 6x.
Wild Coyote Megaways Slot Bonus Features
There is one main bonus feature in Wild Coyote Megaways which is triggered when a minimum of four scatters land in view. Hitting a basic four scatter trigger will award 10 free spins, whilst hitting five, six or seven will reward you with 12, 14, and 16 spins, respectively.

I really liked the design of Wild Coyote Megaways, and I think it’s a decent slot adaptation of one of the greatest cartoons ever made. Yes, I admit, there are not any new and exciting features here that you won’t have seen on several Megaways games before, but I love the theme, and it’s great to bring a bit of nostalgia into your slotting from time to time. I have no doubt others’ opinions of this game will differ, but all slots are subjective to the person playing them, and this is one I thoroughly enjoyed.
