Wild Falls 2 Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
It all sounds like a great start for Wild Falls 2, but, like anything else, that’s not to say that the game is perfect. Don’t get me wrong; this is a great-looking game with the usual immaculate presentation that this developer is known for. At the same time, as pretty as this game is, the theme doesn’t excite me very much. Perhaps I am just hard to please in this regard; previous nature-based slots, such as Hacksaw Gaming’s title Forest Fortune, haven’t done much for me either. It’s not that I dislike the outdoors or anything, far from it, but I definitely feel as if most players will be much more attracted to this game for its feature set and available wins. Quite frankly, there isn’t anything wrong with that!
As a 20-payline game, I was expecting some reasonable hits on the paytable, so I was slightly surprised by what I found. The highest-paying regular symbol looks like a gold collector, but he’s only worth 25x your bet for a full payline of five-of-a-kind. His donkey (well, I assume it’s his!) is worth 20x for all five symbols, whilst his pickaxe and shovel will pay you 15x for a full pay line. A lantern completes the high-paying section with a return of 10x the bet for five-of-a-kind. Five lower-paying royal symbols will award you between 2x and 6x your bet should you hit a full payline of those.
The betting setup follows Play’N’Go’s usual specifications, with a minimum and maximum wager of €0.20 and €100.00, respectively. There are plenty of options between these two extremes to suit a wide range of players, and the quick selection bar at the bottom of the screen makes it easy to switch between different bets if you wish to quickly.
Base Game & Modifiers
After first opening Wild Falls 2, the game defaults to a standard five reel, three row setup with 20 fixed paylines. The reel set can be expanded by triggering the rapid re-spins feature via the chest symbols. The reel set can increase to a maximum size of 5×5, and ten additional paylines will be activated for each extra row currently in play.
Chest Symbols
The chest symbol does not have any cash value in Wild Falls 2, but it certainly does have plenty of other advantages! The symbol acts as both the scatter and the wild, and hitting one or two of these will also trigger the rapid re-spins feature. Three or more chests will award the River of Gold Free Spins Feature instead.
There is also a gold version of the chest which can contain a multiplier of up to 5x, and multiple gold chests appearing on a single spin will combine to create a multiplier of up to 125x. If three gold chests trigger the Free Spins, a super bonus round will be awarded in place of the regular River of Gold.
Rapid Respins
This feature is activated by hitting one or two chest symbols of either type on a single spin, extending the size of the playfield whilst also activating additional paylines. The rapid re-spins feature will remain in play as long as at least one chest symbol lands on the reels on each re-spin.
Gold Rush Modifier
There is a single modifier included in Wild Falls 2 named the “Gold Rush”. In this mode, all chests will become gold, making winning the Super Free Spins much easier. Chest symbols can only appear on reels two, three, and four, but that is still enough to create a maximum multiplier of up to 125x!

Hitting any combination of three chest symbols will trigger the River of Gold Free Spins, whilst three golden chests will start the enhanced “super” free spins mode instead.
River Of Gold Free Spins
Whilst most online slots will award you a specific number of free spins, Wild Falls 2 will instead keep the bonus round going if there is at least one chest symbol visible on the reels.
The three chests that trigger the bonus round will move down one position after the first free spin, so you must land at least one new chest before all three have moved off the bottom of the screen to keep the feature in play.
Super River Of Gold Free Spins
This version of the free spins bonus works similarly to the regular River of Gold, but all the chests that appear here are guaranteed to be of the golden variety. The multipliers contained in each chest can also grow larger than during the base game, resulting in a maximum multiplier of up to 486x instead of the 125x available during normal play.

I really enjoyed testing this new release. I only wish that Play’N’Go had included a bonus buy facility so I could have tried a few more bonus rounds, even though I would not be able to use the feature when playing for real money here in my country!
Despite only playing a handful of features, I still managed to achieve some great results. I even managed to trigger the super free spins a couple of times, suggesting that this high-paying feature may not be as rare as you think. This is definitely a game worth tracking down when it is released in the coming weeks – another winner from Play’N’Go.
