I was very excited to play Wild Swarm 2, and it hasn’t disappointed me. The original was a fantastic game, and this latest version has built on that, improving it further. Many aspects have remained unchanged, with Push preferring to make minor tweaks, but I think they’ve struck a fair balance here. It’s great to see the max win has been lifted, as has the volatility level, which can particularly be seen through the introduction of the reel multipliers that add some real potential if you can achieve the right set-up.The graphics and general gameplay experience are also spot on. The only minor negatives I have are that the 5-scatter bonus buy seems very difficult to profit from. I didn’t manage to do so in several dozen attempts during testing. It would also have been good to see the reel multipliers multiplying by their values rather than being summed up, but I guess that would have ruined the mathematical model. Maybe the way to go for Wild Swarm 3? Overall, a brilliant game.
