Wild Walker Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The Zombie theme has been well and truly embraced by Pragmatic Play, and they have flexed their muscles with regard to their prowess of developing games that are of a high quality when it comes to graphics. As you’d probably except to see on a slot that mimics shows like the Walking Dead, the reels are set upon a background of a city in ruins where fires burn and civilisation is in tatters, whilst the soundtrack to the game is a little more upbeat to give you hope of a new beginning.
Moving to the paytable on Wild Walker, we see the lower paying section is populated by the classic royal cards jack through to the ace, where pays of up to 20x can be awarded when wins are formed through them. The high value symbols on the slot comprise of the test tubes, gun, red woman, green woman, blue man and mad scientist, where 8 of a kind wins will pay 60x, 80x, 120x, 200x, 280x and 400x respectively.

Wild Walker Base Game
The wild walker modifier in the base game is quite an interesting concept, and it can help you to make some winning combinations to keep your balance ticking over. At the start of every new spin that takes place, the full reel wild symbol will be randomly placed on any of the 5 reels before they stop. Land this in a prime position with high value symbols and you’ll see a nice return on your stake.
Wild Walker Free Spin Feature
To trigger the free spin feature on the Wild Walker, you will need to land 3 or 4 of the bonus scatter symbols anywhere in view. It should be noted that hitting a 4 scatter trigger will not give you more free spins to begin the bonus with, but it will give you a better reel set up, which we have highlighted below and will now look at it more detail.

The picture above is of a 3 scatter trigger where you have 1 roaming wild in view and 5 reels active. You will note that there are an additional 3 reels to the right hand side that are locked. Each locked reel has upon it 3 locks in place. Landing a bonus symbol anywhere on your active reels will cause one of the locks to be removed. Once all 3 have turned green, then that reel will become active and you will progress to the next stage.

Once all reels are unlocked it is still possible to receive additional free spins. Collecting a further 3 bonus symbols will add an extra 2 free spins, with there being no limit on how many times this can be re-triggered.
Wild Walker Slot Review Final Thoughts
Once we came across Wild Walker, we couldn’t wait to see what Pragmatic Play had done with the zombie theme. It’s safe to say that we were not disappointed and the visuals on the slot are as always with Pragmatic a cut above the rest.
The game in general we found to be interesting, and having a wild in play at all times during the base game certainly gives you the impression that you’re going to get more wins that what you would do normally. Ultimately though as with any slot, it’s all about the bonus round and the feature on Wild Walker offers up plenty of excitement and some win potential with it.
You really do need to be seeing all 8 reels in play though to hit anything substantial. So if you can make it that far, then keep everything crossed and you might just be in for a big win or two.
