A free games feature can be triggered by hitting three or more scatter symbols, which will award six free games that can be re-triggered indefinitely if your luck is in. A “Golden Rush” feature completes the lineup of bonus features, requiring six symbols to trigger and initiating a familiar three-spin type bonus round.

Witch Treasures Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Gamebeat hasn’t left much room for guesswork as far as the theme of this slot is concerned; the title, Witch Treasures, immediately conjures up images of witches, cauldrons, broomsticks and the like. Those weren’t bad guesses as far as the symbols are concerned – there is also a witch’s hat, a jar containing mushrooms, and a black cat acting as the scatter symbol, but none of these offers up any real surprises given the title of the game. When you compare the Witch Treasures slot game to other witch-inspired slots, such as the Halloween Fortune games I mentioned in the first paragraph, this one contains the largest number of obvious witch-based tropes. As far as I’m concerned, this is a good thing – if you are going to make a game with “witch” in the title, you may as well go all out and make sure that people who enjoy that kind of imagery are going to be satisfied with your product.
It doesn’t matter how great your theme is regarding online slots; however, if you don’t also have an attractive paytable to match. This contrasts with video games or movies, where the title or theme could be enough to secure a profitable consumer. With a huge fifty pay lines spanning the playfield, players can expect to win more often than they would when playing a game featuring just nine or ten pay lines. Of course, more frequent wins often force those wins to be smaller, too, so developers will often include stacks of symbols and/or wilds in a game such as this. Gamebeat has included stacked wilds in Witch Treasures to this end, but the wild symbol does not have a special payout of its own which means you can expect to receive just 3.2x your stake for each full payline of five-of-a-kind. That’s the return for the witch’s hat, which is the highest-paying regular symbol on the list. There are three other “high-paying” symbols, the cauldron pays 2.4x for all five, whilst the jar of mushrooms and potion bottle both pay just 1.6x your bet for a full pay line of five-of-a-kind. The black cat scatter symbols pay 50x your bet if you hit all five of those, as well as triggering the free games feature.
Gamebeat has included twelve stake options this time, starting at €0.25 per spin at the bottom end and maxing out at €50.00 for those with suitably ludicrous bankrolls. Sensibly, most of the twelve options are clustered around the bottom end of this range.
Base Game & Modifiers
The Witch Treasures video slot is a 5×3 reel game that includes two main bonus features but nothing in the way of base game modifiers. Your goal during the base game is to hit three or more matching symbols on one or more of the fifty pay lines, which will award a cash prize in accordance with the numbers featured on the paytable.
Wild symbols appear in stacks but only appear on reels two through five. The regular black cat scatter symbol pays a cash prize and awards six free games with the ability to retrigger the feature too. The second bonus feature is awarded when at least six magic circle symbols appear on the reels at the same time.

We’ll move straight on to the bonus rounds, as that is where the biggest wins can be found in this slot. Fortunately, Gamebeat has included two different bonus rounds, as between the two, they break up the base game nicely and prevent it from becoming repetitive or monotonous.
Free Games Feature
Three or more black cat scatter symbols in any position on the screen will award you with six free games. An additional feature of this mode is that the magic circle symbol acts as an extra wild as well as triggering the Golden Rush feature as it does during the base game. Apart from this, there aren’t any other real changes between the free games and the base gameplay, but my experience suggested that these extra wild symbols were enough to make this a very profitable feature.
Golden Rush Feature
Six or more magic circle symbols landing anywhere on the screen will initiate the Golden Rush feature, which is a three-spin bonus round similar to what you might have seen included in many other online slots. The triggering magic circle symbols will be locked in place for the duration of the feature. Any further magic circle symbols that land during your bonus round will also lock in place until you either run out of spins or fill the entire screen with magic circle symbols.
At the end of the Golden Rush feature, you may win one or more jackpot prizes – the MINI jackpot is worth 12x your bet, the MINOR jackpot is worth 20x your bet, and the MAJOR jackpot is worth 100x your bet. The MEGA jackpot is awarded only if you fill the entire screen with magic circle symbols and pays 1,000x your total bet.

Witch Treasures is quite similar to other games by Gamebeat and includes a similar set of features, but I feel as if the theme of this one is sure to be attractive to a larger number of players than more generic themes such as fruit. It’s not the most innovative or original game of the year by any means, but it’s an enjoyable slot that should find plenty of fans amongst online slot players.
