My assumption, looking at the backdrop, is that it has to do with some kind of lucky forest, which might disappoint you if you were hoping for one of the themes mentioned earlier. In Wood Luck!, a Rockfall cascading reels feature increases a win multiplier by up to 10x in the base game via consecutive cascades on a winning spin. Wood Luck! theme, stakes, pays & symbols
I’ve reviewed several Mascot Gaming slots in recent months, and what I’ve learned is that the developer is fairly consistent in terms of quality. You can see from the scores we’ve awarded many of Mascot’s games. I’d call the developer a 7 out of 10 studio, as most slots average that score. Some do better than others, but you rarely find a low score. My favourite is probably Re-Kill Ultimate, as it offers a good combination of features, a zombie theme, and a decent max win of 7,500x. Plenty of others come close, too, such as Fabulous Farm and Dreamshock Jackpot X.
Considering the multipliers and cascades, the payouts on Wood Luck! Are pretty decent. For example, the top return possible is 40x the stake when the Rabbit symbol lines up six times across consecutive reels. The Owl has a maximum reward of 16x, the Strawberries are worth up to 6x, and the Hazelnut has a top return of 3.6x. The last of the premium symbols are the Mushroom and Log, with both sharing a top return of 2x. Finally, we hit the low pays, and the Spades pay up to 1x, the Hearts and Diamonds share a 0.6x top return, and the Clubs pay a maximum of 0.48x.
Wrapping up this section we end with the bet selection on Wood Luck! Where real money players can stake from a minimum of €0.25 up to a maximum of €50.00 per spin. Perhaps the slight disappointment here is that the minimum bet could prove to be a little too high for those with a smaller bankroll.

The reel matrix on Wood Luck! consists of six reels and six rows. Between two and six symbols can appear on each reel to create between 64 and 46,656 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed when three or more matching symbols land on consecutive reels from left to right.
Rockfall
Mascot Gaming’s Rockfall Feature, previously used in titles such as The Candy Slot Deluxe and Book Of Anksunamun, returns. All winning symbols are removed from the reels so that new ones can drop into play. Each Rockfall will increase a win multiplier through 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x. Free Spins Feature
Five or more scatter symbols anywhere in view are required to trigger the free spins bonus. You’ll receive 15 spins in return for the five scatters and an additional 3 spins for each extra scatter on the triggering spin. Where free spins differ from the base game is the Rockfall Multipliers now increase through 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, and 25x
Wood Luck! Bonus Game
You’ll need five or more Bonus symbols to trigger the Wood Luck! Bonus Game. Those triggering symbols carry over to the bonus and transform into random multipliers.
You receive 3 re-spins, which reset back to 3 each time one of the following symbols lands:
- Multiplier: Adds its multiplier value to the total win multiplier.
- Super Multiplier: Adds an even bigger multiplier value to the total win multiplier.
- Modifier: Multiplies the total win multiplier.
- Upgrade: Increases the total number of re-spins allowed by 1 and up to a maximum of 5.
The bonus game ends once you run out of re-spins or all positions are filled. If all positions are filled and there are re-spins left over, they are used as a modifier. Once the bonus ends, the total win multiplier is applied to the current stake and paid.
Risk’N’Buy Feature
After a win during the base game, you can use the Risk feature to attempt to increase your winnings. You choose from positions on a grid to find multipliers, blanks, or bombs. Multipliers apply to your winnings, blanks give you another free pick, and bombs end the game, losing the winnings you’ve gambled.
As for the Buy Bonus, you can use this to purchase the free spins or bonus game for 134x or 140x the current stake, respectively. Occasionally, you’ll see special offers for either of those bonus games at a lower than standard price.

Wood Luck Slot Review Final Thoughts
I’m pleasantly surprised with how enjoyable Wood Luck! is. The Rockfall cascading reels mechanic featuring progressive multipliers always enhances Mascot’s slots, while having two bonus games to aim for will always appeal to players. The RTP is lower than I’d like, but aside from that, I have no complaints here.
