James Bond Roulette Strategy

The James Bond Roulette strategy is a method whereby players’ bets cover two-thirds of the wheel and the number zero. Whilst this system can bring good results in the short term if it is used for a continued amount of play, then the house edge will catch up, leaving players facing a deficit on their initial starting balance. Join us as we take a full, in-depth look at this strategy and learn when and how to use it.

How Does The James Bond Roulette Strategy Work?

To try the James Bond Roulette Strategy, you will need a minimum of €20 or your currency equivalent. If you’re a player with a larger budget, you can start with €200, €2000 etc. But for the purposes of this explanation, I’ll be using a €20 total bet.

  • You need to bet €14 or 14 bet units on the high numbers 19 – 36

  • You need to bet €5 or 5 bet units on the six numbers 13 – 18

  • You need to bet €1 or 1 bet unit on zero to act as your insurance policy

  • The above bets equal €20, and the following amounts will be paid for a successful winning spin.

  • A number from 19 – 36 landing will pay you €28, leaving you with a profit of €8 for the spin.

  • A number from 13 – 18 landing will pay you €30, leaving you with a profit of €10 for the spin.

  • The number zero landing will pay you €36, leaving you with a profit of €16 for the spin.

The obvious downside to this Roulette method is that if a number between 1 and 12 lands, it will be a losing spin. From here, you can either carry on with the same bet sizes or increase them as you would when using the Martingale Roulette system, which is a progressive-based method.

Can I Beat The House With The James Bond Roulette Method?

As I said in our tips for online roulette page, there are no foolproof or guaranteed methods of beating the wheel, but you may have some short-term success and luck with any number of strategies, such as the James Bond method.

Many other reviews of this method rightly state that if you were to spin the wheel 37 times and each number landed once, you would lose €20 for every 37 spins. This is, of course, not great news for a roulette strategy, but it is also very unlikely to happen; you are much more likely to get a variety of results every 37 spins. I thought it would be interesting to try this out, so I’ve made a YouTube video you can watch in the next section.

Like most gambling scenarios, knowing when to walk away is the key to success. If you get some early wins and build your balance up, it would be wise to cash out and take a quick profit. Just remember that the house always has the edge, and eventually, no matter how lucky you are, that edge will catch up with you.

Can I Try This Strategy Out Anywhere For Free?

They say the proof is in the pudding, so we have a roulette free play demo page for players to try out our strategies and any others they might have learned along the way in a real-time setting with the wheel spinning as it would if you were playing it for real money. Alternatively, if you want to see the results of multiple spins in seconds, try our free roulette simulator, which cuts out the gameplay and instantly gives you the statistics of each bet placed.
