Party Star (Jili Games) Slot Demo & Review

Now that’s what I’m talking about, a slot with a pumping soundtrack delivered by the hippest rabbit DJ chick around! Party Star from Jili Games is like a two-for-one deal, as you get great music and a slot to spin at your favourite online casinos. That’s if you even get around to hitting that spin button, i spent at least 5 minutes jigging away in my chair listening to the soundtrack before I even thought about having a spin. So what is Party Star aside from a banging tune? Well, it’s a 6×5 slot with 15,625 ways to win, a 97% RTP and a 50,000x the stake maximum win.

The action in the game is almost as good as the music, too, as there are cascading reels that give you the potential to record multiple wins from the same spin and Party Reels symbols that increase the ways to win. They contain multiple instances of the same symbol, and with each win they create, another is added. Furthermore, there are special symbols that transform those inside the Party Reels into the same type or even wilds and can activate a Pays Both Ways mechanic. As for the main bonus, there are two variations. During both, the Party Reels are sticky between spins, and they can start with more instances of symbols within. If you trigger the Super bonus, a new Party Reels symbol is added after every spin.

Those features are definitely worth checking out, but even if they don’t appeal, you should still power up the Party Star slot demo below for the tunes alone!

Party Star Slot Paytable

The theme and soundtrack of Party Star are enough to convince you to put on your dancing shoes and head out to a nightclub in the evening. But if that’s not feasible, you could play a few other music-themed slot demos with thumping soundtracks to mix up what you’re listening to and spinning on. Push Gaming has a couple I reckon some of you would like, namely DJ Fox and DJ Cat. Furthermore, NoLimit City has a selection of slots featuring banging tunes, including DJ Psycho and The Rave.

I always like to check out the paytable of any slot before playing, and in Party Star, there are 12 paying symbols and a Wild symbol that lands on reels one and five, substituting for all others except the bonus scatter. It also shares the top payout of 5x the stake for a six-symbol combination with the DJ Rabbit. The Gorilla returns 3.2x, the Giraffe is worth up to 2.4x, and the Fox has a top reward of 1.6x. The medium pays are the Glasses and Chain, which both return 0.9x and the Microphone and Cocktail, which share a payout of 0.4x for six in a row. The Ace, King, Queen, and Jack are the lower paying symbols that return 0.4x for six-symbol combinations.

To spin the reels, you’ll first need to choose a stake between a minimum of €0.10 and a maximum of €100.00 per spin. There are 13 other staking options to pick from within this range, ensuring all real money players can find a bet suitable to the size of their bankroll.

Party Star Slot Base Game

Party Star Slot Base Game
Party Star slot base game

There are 15,625 ways to win across the 6 reels and 5 rows of the Party Star slot. Creating wins involves landing three or more matching symbols on consecutive reels from left to right.

Cascading Reels

After winning combinations are created and paid, the winning symbols are removed from the reels. All remaining symbols drop down before more fall in from the top of the reels to fill the spaces left behind, potentially creating more wins.

Party Reels Symbols

Party Reel symbols that are two positions in size can appear in any position on the reels and will contain between 4, 5, and 6 of the same symbol. If they’re involved in a winning combination, the number of symbols within increases by 1. When these land, they’ll increase the ways to win as there are now more symbols within two reel positions.

Special Symbols

Three types of special symbols can appear above the reels:

  • Party Wild: Replaces the symbols inside a Party Reels symbol with wilds.
  • Party Match: Replaces the symbols inside a Party Reels symbol with the same type that is adjacent to it.
  • Both Ways: This activates Pays Both Ways for the remainder of the spin. Symbol combinations are now created from right to left as well as left to right

Party Star Slot Bonus Features

Party Star Slot Free Spins Feature
Party Star slot free spins feature

There are two variations of a free spins bonus game that players can trigger on the Party Star slot, so let’s take a closer look at what these are below.

Free Spins Feature

You’ll receive 8, 12, 16, or 20 free spins when 3, 4, 5, or 6 bonus symbols land on a base game spin, respectively. During this feature, the Party Reels symbols remain sticky on the reels until the end of the bonus. Furthermore, they can hold between 4 and 15 of the same symbol type when they land. Landing four or more scatter symbols on a spin will re-trigger the free spins bonus game.

Super Free Spins

If one of the triggering scatter symbols is a Super Bonus, you’ll trigger the Super Free Spins Bonus. You’ll receive the same benefits offered in the standard bonus, but on each spin, a new Party Reels Symbol is added to reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, in that order. Eventually, you’ll spin with 5 of them on the reels simultaneously.

Pros

  • A cracking soundtrack
  • A solid combination of features that are enjoyable and lucrative.

Cons

  • I’m not convinced a max win of 50,000x the stake is possible.

Party Star Slot Review Final Thoughts

Okay, so I’m a sucker for the music, but the gameplay is probably the best I’ve enjoyed playing on a Jili Games slot title. The Party Reels, special symbols, and the cascading reels mechanic work so well together. The bonus games are a bit meh, but they do increase your winning potential. A good slot and well worth a few spins if you haven't enjoyed a few already.
