Rainbow Riches Locomotion Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
As I mentioned in the introduction, there are heaps of Rainbow Riches titles to work your way through. There are jackpot versions, the excellent Rainbow Riches Megaways, the Rainbow Riches Slingo game, and even a live casino title. One of my personal favourites is Rainbow Riches Power Pitch, mainly because it has a super-charged max win of 10,000x the stake, but pretty much all of the games in the collection are worth a few spins at the very least.
We’re over to the paytable next on Rainbow Riches Locomotion, and the Wild symbol, which also expands to fill its reel whenever it lands, is the equal top-paying symbol along with the Game Logo, with both paying 25x the stake whenever five land across a payline. The Rainbow follows these, which can pay up to 20x; the Leprechaun Hat and the Harp have a maximum return of 15x, while the Mushroom and Horseshoe pay up to 12x. The Ace, King, Queen, and Jack finalise the pays section and are worth 10x for winning combinations of five.
The standard betting range available on the Rainbow Riches Locomotion slot starts at just €0.10 a spin and can increase to as high as €20.00 if you choose. It could be argued that the upper limit may not be enough for the very highest of rollers, but 99.99% of real money players will be catered for within the available staking options.

The action is played out across a traditional 5×3 reel configuration, and there are 10 paylines to land your payouts. These come when a spin reveals three or more matching symbols on a payline from left to right.
Gold Coins
Gold Coins can land on the reels in any mode and have cash values as a multiplier of the stake between 1x and 100x. In some instances, they may also have a ‘??’ sign, which signifies a mystery value that can reveal between 10x and 100x.
However, those money values mean nothing until at least 5 lands on the same spin. You then receive all the cash values and the LOCOmotion bonus game triggers.
Premium Play
For the cost of 1.5x your current stake, you can play the Premium Play mode of Rainbow Riches Locomotion. When activated, any time you record a win of over 2x your current stake, you win a spin on a bonus wheel. This spin will reveal a win multiplier between 1x and 5x that applies to the triggering win or will trigger the LOCOmotion or free spins bonus games.
Gamble
You can turn the Gamble feature on or off to the left of the reels. When on, you can gamble any wins from a 5x (2.5x or more if the Premium Play is active) or more payout in return for a chance to increase your winnings or to receive some free spins.

I’ve already touched on the LOCOmotion bonus game and will get into that in more detail below, but Rainbow Riches also has a free spins bonus you can trigger, which I’ll get to shortly.
Locomotion Bonus With Hyper Reels
You can trigger this bonus game during the base game or free spins, and it takes place on new reels that reveal only Gold Coin symbols or blanks. Those reels, known as Hyper Reels, also scroll to the left on every spin. You receive an initial 3 spins, and if a spin reveals a gold coin, you receive the cash price and an additional spin is added to the count.
Free Spins Feature
Three or more bonus scatter symbols anywhere in view will trigger the free spins bonus game. You’re given 8 free spins of reels that contain single-sized reels for the first and last and one giant 3-position reel in the middle.
That middle reel contains giant-sized regular, bonus and coin symbols, with the latter holding high-value prizes of between 10x and 100x that automatically payout as the giant symbols are 9 symbols in size. For the same reason, landing a giant gold coin will trigger the LOCOmotion Bonus, which plays out before returning you to finish any remaining free spins. If a giant bonus symbol lands, you receive an additional 8 free spins.
